In-store & shop events

A reason to come in, stay, and be drawn in your brand.

One artist at a table in the store, sketching your clients in the studio style on paper printed with your logo. Clients spend time in the space and leave with a piece they keep — with your name on it.

What you are solving

Three questions every planner asks first.

  1. 01

Footfall and dwell time on the day

The sketch is the invitation. Announce it to your client list, tie it to a spend threshold as a gift with purchase, or open it to everyone who walks in. Each client is photographed in twenty seconds and keeps shopping until the text says their sketch is ready.

  2. 02

It has to look like the brand, not a booth

One artist, a 4 ft table and a chair — that is the whole footprint. The paper carries your logo, and the finished sketch is handed over matted in a protective sleeve, ready for the shopping bag.

  3. 03

    Quick to sign off

Store events get one recommended package, not a menu. Tell us the date, the hours you want covered and the size of the space; we come back with one option and hold the date on a 50% deposit.

How it works

Your guests enjoy the art instead of queueing for it.

  1. Two artists set up at the counter of a jewelry store
    01

    Setup

Our team arrives one hour before the start time to set up, and that prep hour is not billed. Every event is staffed with artists and a host, so the artists do one thing: sketch.

  2. Three shoppers photographed in store for their sign-up
    02

    Sign-up by photo

The host takes each guest’s photo, name and mobile number. Twenty seconds, and they are back to the party — nobody sits or stands for a portrait.

  3. A shopper at a mall event looking at her sketch
    03

A personal page for every guest

Each guest gets a text with their photo, their guest number and the approximate wait, and the page updates itself as the queue moves.

  4. Two shoppers at a mall event with their finished sketches
    04

    Sketch ready, pick-up, the reveal

The moment the sketch is done the guest gets a photo of it by text, then picks it up at the table — signed, matted in a protective sleeve, theirs to keep.

The package

What a booking looks like

Alisa Maxime sketching in a boutique
  • Shop events are usually one or two artists for four hours in store; a multi-day activation, like our week in the Chanel boutique at DFW, runs the same hours each day.

  • Our artists become part of the store team. Shoppers are happy to make a purchase just to take home this keepsake, so the sketch works as a gift with purchase.

  • Runway sketches 12 guests per hour per artist on 5x7 paper; High-End 7 per hour per artist on 8x10.

  • Every package includes custom-printed paper with your logo, event title or date, a protective sleeve and mat for each artwork, an on-site assistant who takes the sign-ups and runs the pickup, and a one-hour early arrival for setup that is not billed.

  • Setup needs: one 4 ft table and a chair per artist, access to a nearby outlet, and an indoor or covered spot.

  • A 50% deposit books the date. After the deposit we ask for the title, names or logo to print on your custom paper.

Good to know

Before you book

Do guests have to sit for a portrait?

No. The host takes each guest’s photo at sign-up, twenty seconds, and they go back to the party. The artists draw from the photo and keep going all evening, whether or not anyone is at the table.

Runway or High-End — what’s the difference?

Runway is 5x7 in on premium watercolor paper: airy, expressive, about five minutes a guest, with 12 guests an hour per artist guaranteed. High-End is 8x10 in with more detail and elegance, 7 guests an hour per artist guaranteed. Runway when you want the whole room drawn; High-End for a luxury keepsake, shop events and client appreciation.

Can you put our name or logo on the paper?

Yes. A week before the event we print a custom template free: your logo, names, date, colors or a line of your choosing. Send the details once you’ve booked.

What materials do you use?

Watercolor, markers and ink on premium Italian paper. Every sketch goes into a protective sleeve and a mat before it’s handed over, ready to take home.

What do you need from the venue?

Per artist: a 4 ft table, a chair and a plug, all the tables together in one place, indoors or covered. We arrive an hour early to set up and that hour isn’t billed. Everything else, lighting, signage, materials, the host, comes with us.

How much does it cost?

Our minimum booking is one artist for three hours, from $1,650. Most events need more artists or hours, so we send one recommendation with the artists, the hours, the guaranteed number of guests sketched and one total price, usually the same day.

When do I pay?

Once the details are set, we send the invoice and a 50% deposit holds the date. The balance is due before the event.
