Weddings

Your wedding guests, drawn during the party they came for.

From cocktail hour through the reception, our artists sketch your guests from a photo the host takes in twenty seconds. Nobody leaves the dance floor to pose, and everyone who is drawn takes home a signed portrait of themselves at your wedding.

The reveal

The moment a bride sees her sketch.

What you are solving

Three questions every planner asks first.

  1. 01

Will it pull people away from the party?

No one sits for a portrait. The host takes a photo, the guest goes back to the party and gets a text when their sketch is ready to pick up. The artists can start during the ceremony, from photos taken as guests arrive.

  2. 02

Everyone, or the people who matter most?

Two ways to do it. Runway, at twelve guests an hour per artist, is how a whole reception gets drawn. High-End, at seven an hour, is for a smaller guest list or the wedding party, parents and grandparents — with more time on each face.

  3. 03

A number you can count on

Every proposal carries a guests-sketched guarantee: two artists over four hours sketch at least 96 guests in Runway or 56 in High-End. The paper is printed with your names and date, free, a week before.

How it works

Your guests enjoy the art instead of queueing for it.

  1. Two artists set up at a barn wedding, before the guests arrive
    01

    Setup

Our team arrives one hour before the start time to set up, and that prep hour is not billed. Every event is staffed with artists and a host, so the artists do one thing: sketch.

  2. Three wedding guests photographed outdoors for their sign-up
    02

    Sign-up by photo

The host takes each guest’s photo, name and mobile number. Twenty seconds, and they are back to the party — nobody sits or stands for a portrait.

  3. A guest seeing her finished sketch for the first time
    03

A personal page for every guest

Each guest gets a text with their photo, their guest number and the approximate wait, and the page updates itself as the queue moves.

  4. A couple at a wedding holding their finished sketch
    04

    Sketch ready, pick-up, the reveal

The moment the sketch is done the guest gets a photo of it by text, then picks it up at the table — signed, matted in a protective sleeve, theirs to keep.

The package

What a booking looks like

Alisa Maxime holding a finished sketch at a wedding
  • The team is sized to your guest count: Runway sketches 12 guests per hour per artist on 5x7 paper, High-End 7 per hour per artist on 8x10, and every proposal states the number of guests sketched we guarantee for your number.

  • Want the table open from cocktail hour to the last dance? We add artists and hours so every guest is sketched before the night ends.

  • Every package includes custom-printed paper with your logo, event title or date, a protective sleeve and mat for each artwork, an on-site assistant who takes the sign-ups and runs the pickup, and a one-hour early arrival for setup that is not billed.

  • Setup needs: one 4 ft table and a chair per artist, access to a nearby outlet, and an indoor or covered spot.

  • A 50% deposit books the date. After the deposit we ask for the title, names or logo to print on your custom paper.

Good to know

Before you book

Do guests have to sit for a portrait?

No. The host takes each guest’s photo at sign-up, twenty seconds, and they go back to the party. The artists draw from the photo and keep going all evening, whether or not anyone is at the table.

How does a guest know their sketch is ready?

Right after sign-up they get a text with their photo, a link to their own page and the approximate wait. When the sketch is done, another text arrives with the picture, and the page switches to ready for pick-up. Every event gets its own address, with a live gallery of every finished sketch.

Will every guest get a sketch?

The guarantee is a number, in writing. For rooms of about 130 or more where you want everyone drawn, Runway with enough artists covers it; smaller rooms usually choose High-End. Because nobody has to sit or queue, coverage depends on the artists’ pace, not on your guests.

How long does it take to draw one person?

About five minutes in Runway and seven in High-End; a couple on one sheet takes about ten. The number of guests sketched goes in writing on your proposal.

Can you put our name or logo on the paper?

Yes. A week before the event we print a custom template free: your logo, names, date, colors or a line of your choosing. Send the details once you’ve booked.

What happens to sketches nobody collects?

Every sketch is finished before the night ends. Anything left is handed to your planner, and we text the guest where to find it. After the event you also receive the full digital package: every guest photo, every sketch photo and the reactions.

How much does it cost?

Our minimum booking is one artist for three hours, from $1,650. Most events need more artists or hours, so we send one recommendation with the artists, the hours, the guaranteed number of guests sketched and one total price, usually the same day.

When do I pay?

Once the details are set, we send the invoice and a 50% deposit holds the date. The balance is due before the event.
