The evening
Rosewood Miramar Beach in Montecito hosted a wedding on July 11, 2026, for about 100 guests. The reception room was hung with thousands of roses suspended from the ceiling, and a live band played through dinner and dancing. The setting was romantic and understated.
One artist sketched for six hours and completed 72 portraits, close to three quarters of the guest list. Guests stopped for a quick photo, went back to the dancing, and picked up their signed sketch in its protective sleeve once a text said it was ready, an original to take home from the beach.
