Wedding at The Nest at Ruth Farms, Ponder, Texas

An all-white interior gave The Nest at Ruth Farms a clean, classic look for a wedding on March 21, 2026. The guest list of about 100 was close family and friends, and the venue's staff were attentive to everyone throughout the day.

Two artists sketched in the High-End style for five hours and drew 70 portraits on 8x10 paper. Everyone who wanted a sketch got one, including the VIP guests on the couple's list, and later in the evening the bride had two group photos taken for portraits she had requested: one with her mother-in-law and one with her four bridesmaids.

The toasts were the emotional center of the night. Family members spoke first, and then couples who had been married for forty years or more offered advice to the newlyweds. The hosts and the venue staff were very happy with how the sketching went.
