Wedding at Hall of Lights, Dallas

Black, white and gold was the theme of a wedding at Hall of Lights on May 29, 2026, and the decor followed it closely. The day started with an outdoor ceremony, then moved to a cocktail hour with a string quartet, and finished with a reception for 200 guests.

Two artists sketched in the Runway style for four hours and produced 96 portraits on 5x7 paper. Guests came to the table in their formalwear, which suited the style well, and the black-and-gold palette showed up again and again in the finished drawings.
