50th Birthday Party in Rye, New York

A 50th birthday party at a private home in Rye, New York, on April 11, 2026, took its theme from the Masters golf tournament. Most of the roughly 40 guests, all close friends and family of the birthday host, came dressed in green and white to match.

Dinner was Italian, prepared by a chef flown in for the occasion, and a guitarist played and sang through the night.

One artist sketched for three and a half hours in the Runway style and completed 42 portraits at 5x7 inches, enough for every guest. The green-and-white dress code made for a coordinated set of sketches, and guests took theirs home at the end of the party.
