Bat Mitzvah at The Village, Stamford

A bat mitzvah at The Village in Stamford, Connecticut, on May 9, 2026, brought together about 100 guests, most of them teenagers with plenty of energy. Games ran throughout the party and the kids moved between them in packs, with family and friends of the guest of honor giving the speeches.

Two artists sketched for three hours in the Runway style and completed 72 portraits, 5x7 inches each, a quick format well suited to a young crowd, since each guest only had to stop for a photo before running back to the games.

Each sketch went out as it was finished, so the guests had something drawn to take home from the party alongside the photos.
