Baby Shower in Hopewell Junction, New York

Sixty guests came together in Hopewell Junction on June 27, 2026 for a baby shower held at a private home. Two artists from Alisa Maxime Studio sketched for three hours and produced 60 portraits.

It was a calm, seated afternoon. Guests ate, talked, and took in the decorations, which were coordinated to the shower's theme, and a game announced by the mother-to-be's sister got the whole room involved partway through. Because the group was relaxed and unhurried, the artists had time to draw pairs and small groups as well as individuals: many guests asked to be sketched with the guest of honor, and others stepped into a photo with a mother, sister, or cousin for a shared portrait. The mother-to-be left with a stack of drawings of her family and friends.
