Event at The Post Oak Hotel, Houston

The Post Oak Hotel at Uptown Houston hosted an event on August 26, 2026, and Alisa Maxime Studio was there with one artist. Over the evening the artist drew 84 guests, each in a quick fashion-illustration portrait made on the spot.

The format is simple. The studio's host takes a quick photo of each guest, about twenty seconds, and the guest goes straight back to the party while the artist draws them from that photo in what they are wearing that night. When the sketch is ready they get a text and pick it up at the table, signed and in a protective sleeve, to take home the same evening.
